About Me
Hello,
My name is Dawn Stump. I am from Upland, IN… the home of Taylor University and the famous Ivanhoe’s restaurant.
In high school and my first year of college, I worked as a Library Page in my home town library. When I transferred to Ball State University to complete my bachelor’s degree, I worked as a Student Assistant in Information Services at Bracken Library. Currently, I am a Circulation Night Assistant at Bracken Library.
This is the start of my second year as a graduate student at IUPUI. If all goes according to plan, I hope to complete my MLS by the end of next summer.
Am I a fiction or nonfiction leisure reader? I read mostly fiction. However, when I do read nonfiction, I enjoy reading about different subjects from history to biographies to health and fitness. Lately, I have been particularly interested in books about international travel.
If I had endless time to read, I would love to dive into some of the following nonfiction books.
- The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown
- Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
- The Wright Brothers by David McCullough
- Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow
- I am Malala by Malala Yousafzai
